Our Values
The Richmond Hospital Thrift Shop is operated by the Board of Directors of the
Richmond Hospital/Healthcare Auxiliary.
We are proud to tell you that, 100% of our staff are volunteers and 100% of the funds
raised go to the Richmond Hospital/ Healthcare Auxiliary. The funds raised from the
Thrift Shop help to pay for medical supplies, medical equipment and patient care
services.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide our loyal customers the best products. We have a saying at the thrift, “if it’s not good enough for you to purchase then we don’t put it out on the floor” or if it’s not a 9 out of 10, then it doesn’t make it on the floor.
We pride ourselves in providing the best prices in town. Times are tough and things are expensive out there. The community gives to us and we give back to the community. Affordability is always at the top o our list when we price our items.
Before COVID a thrift shop was a place to you went to find something unique or kitschy. Today people come to a thrift shop out of necessity. Clothing, housewares, toys, etc. Our thrift shop serves as a dollar store, hardware store, clothing store.
Our Community Service
The thrift shop also services the community as a place of socializing not just for wonderful volunteers but also for our patrons.
We are proud to provide, serve and support our local community of Historic, Steveston and the city of Richmond as a whole.
OUR VOLUNTEERS
We have over 100 dedicated volunteers, without our wonderful volunteers that bring their
skills and talents we wouldn’t be the best thrift shop in the city.

We appreciate the donations we receive from our thoughtful community members.
Donations can be dropped off at the thrift shop during business hours.
Monday to Friday 10am to 2:45pm
Saturday & Sunday 12pm to 2:45pm
